Meet Jeannie LaCroix
Biography
I grew up right here in Northern Virginia and have spent my whole life in our local area. For over a decade, I’ve been a proud member of the Woodbridge community. I know what it’s like to work hard: I’ve owned my own small business and now work as a local Realtor helping families find their forever home.
Woodbridge is more than just where I live; it’s a community I care deeply about. I have served on our local Animal Advisory Committee and led my neighborhood’s social committee for years. I also started a Neighborhood Watch program to keep our streets safe and have spent my time supporting our local restaurants and businesses.
I am a mother to two wonderful grown children, David and Ashland. I raised them to be honest, kind, and to think for themselves. When I look at them, I see a bright future for the next generation. I believe our leaders should lead by example, and that is exactly what I plan to do.

Mission
My goal is simple: I want to leave things better than I found them. This is the idea that guides everything I do in my life and my work.
I’m running for Supervisor because I want to make Woodbridge the best place to live. In my past roles, I’ve had to make tough choices, but I always stay calm and focused on what is right. I want to bring respect and kindness back to our local government.
Too many of our neighbors feel like their voices aren’t being heard. I want to change that. I believe that having different ideas and different backgrounds is what makes our community great. I want to be the bridge that brings neighbors together to solve our biggest problems – from stopping crime and drugs in our schools to fixing our roads and lowering your taxes.
My word is my promise. I will work hard every day to make sure your voice is heard on the County Board.
A Proven Leader for Woodbridge
A Successful Career Built on Hard Work
For 30 years, I owned and operated a court reporting firm right here in Northern Virginia. That experience taught me how to manage a budget, lead a team, and get the job done. Today, I am a Realtor with Long and Foster. I am proud to have been named a “Top Producer” every year since I started, and I was even recognized by The Washingtonian as one of the best in the area. With everything I do, I work hard to be the best for the people I serve.
Dedicated to Our Neighborhoods
I have spent years leading local community groups because I believe strong neighborhoods start with neighbors who care.
- Safety First: I led the Neighborhood Watch for Belmont Bay to help keep our families safe.
- Building Community: I chaired the Social Committee for three years to bring neighbors together.
- Experienced Leadership: I have served as a President and Board Member for local Homeowners’ Associations, where I wrote the rules that keep our communities beautiful and fair.
Educated and Prepared
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Management and Business from National-Louis University, and have spent many years in business. This education and hands-on, real life training helps me understand the “dollars and cents” of our county budget. I have the business sense to spot waste and the community heart to know what Woodbridge families really need.
