Meet Jeannie LaCroix

Biography

I grew up right here in Northern Virginia and have spent my whole life in our local area. For over a decade, I’ve been a proud member of the Woodbridge community. I know what it’s like to work hard: I’ve owned my own small business and now work as a local Realtor helping families find their forever home.

Woodbridge is more than just where I live; it’s a community I care deeply about. I have served on our local Animal Advisory Committee and led my neighborhood’s social committee for years. I also started a Neighborhood Watch program to keep our streets safe and have spent my time supporting our local restaurants and businesses.

I am a mother to two wonderful grown children, David and Ashland. I raised them to be honest, kind, and to think for themselves. When I look at them, I see a bright future for the next generation. I believe our leaders should lead by example, and that is exactly what I plan to do.

Mission

My goal is simple: I want to leave things better than I found them. This is the idea that guides everything I do in my life and my work.

I’m running for Supervisor because I want to make Woodbridge the best place to live. In my past roles, I’ve had to make tough choices, but I always stay calm and focused on what is right. I want to bring respect and kindness back to our local government.

Too many of our neighbors feel like their voices aren’t being heard. I want to change that. I believe that having different ideas and different backgrounds is what makes our community great. I want to be the bridge that brings neighbors together to solve our biggest problems – from stopping crime and drugs in our schools to fixing our roads and lowering your taxes.

My word is my promise. I will work hard every day to make sure your voice is heard on the County Board.
